INSTALLATION PLEASE READ – VERY IMPORTANT
1. Remove existing
showerhead from the shower arm.
2. Set reminder date
for cartridge change; months of the year appear in white window of housing. Hold the front portion of housing with one
hand and rotate the back portion. Set
for 6 months from date of installation.
3. Attach April
ShowerÒ Oxy Shower Blastä to shower arm.
- Hold end of filter with internal threads up to
- Make sure filter is not at an angle. Align threads of filter with threads of
shower arm by first turning filter ½ turn counter-clockwise.
- Slowly turn filter in clockwise
direction. There should be little
- Be Careful Not to Cross thread.
- Tighten firmly by hand only but do not over tighten.
1. Before entering
a. Turn the shower water to the “full hot”
b. After hot water
is flowing, cool to the desired temperature.
c. If leaking occurs
at shower arm connection, remove unit and wrap Teflonä tape 3-4 times around shower arm
threads and re-attach unit.

3. SPRAY ADJUSTMENT:
To adjust spray settings,
hold the adjustment lever at the edge of the showerhead and turn clockwise or
counter-clockwise for desired spray. CAUTION: Stay
within the 6 settings. DO NOT force
spray adjustment lever past the last setting as it may render showerhead
NEW CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT
(takes the “ APSLC ” cartridge)
According to individual water conditions, the THE APRIL
SHOWERÒ OXY SHOWER BLASTä Filter should be replaced
after 6 months of service by performing the following procedures:
Open the Shower Filter Housing by unscrewing the housing
halves counter clockwise.
2. Remove and
replace the used filter with the new APRIL SHOWERÒ Cartridge. Insure that the O-Ring is properly seated
when placing cartridge in housing.
4. Close the Shower Filter
Housing by screwing the Shower Filter Halves together clockwise.
5. Replace shower filter onto
shower arm (optional: wrap threads of shower arm
3 or 4 times with Teflon™ tape to prevent possible
Cartridge may be disposed
in trash or, filtration media of used cartridge maybe composted in the
ground. The plastic casing of cartridge
may be recycled (depending upon the plastic your recycler accepts).
